Somethin' Else represents the final chapter of Three Penny Opus' musical collaboration of almost five years. Mary-Lou and Rob (husband and sound engineer ) have decided to move back home to 'Smalltown' Southern Ontario. We've all been living with the fact that we may never have the opportunity to play together as a group again, and that our final performances together were the live reference tracks used in the production of this album.
So why record an album at all if we're no longer together as a group to support it? For the love of this music, we had to. We played, reveled and feasted on one another's creative and musical indulgances over the years. This album represents our best work spanning that time.

So what'sin our future? Some of us may continue to collaborate on projects independantly, time, technology, and lifestyles permitting, who knows.. Rest assured, we'll always have Somethin' Else.
